<p>Dr. Sam Peh is a consultant urologist specialising in general urology, andrology, stone surgery, and laparoscopic urological procedures. </p> <p>He completed his MBBS at the National University of Singapore and subspecialty training in urology at Westmead Hospital in Australia. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS) and Academy of Medicine of Singapore (FAMS). </p> <p>He is a former clinical teacher at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and is a member of the Singapore Medical Association, Singapore Urological Association, International College of Surgeons, and the Australian Urological Society.</p>
<p>Dr. Melvin Look is a consultant general, gastrointestinal, and laparoscopic surgeon. He holds an MBBS degree and has received training in upper gastrointestinal cancer surgery at the National Cancer Centre Hospital in Tokyo, advanced laparoscopic surgery at Mt. Sinai Medical Centre in New York, and peritoneal cancer treatment at the Washington Cancer Institute, Washington DC. Prior to going into private practice, he served at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh (UK) for one year as an honorary consultant in upper gastrointestinal surgery. </p> <p>Upon his return to Singapore, he joined the Centre for Gut and Liver Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at Mt. Elizabeth Hospital and East Shore Hospital as a consultant general surgeon. He was also a visiting Fellow at Mount Sinai Medical Centre in New York (2001) and clinical lecturer at the National University of Singapore. He helped trained laparoscopic surgeons not just from Singapore but also from Malaysia, Brunei, Philippines, Indonesia, India, and Hong Kong. </p> <p>Dr. Look has pioneered a number of advanced laparoscopic procedures in Southeast Asia, including hand-assisted laparoscopic surgery, endoscopic thyroid surgery, and Swedish adjustable gastric banding for the treatment of obesity. He has been listed in “Who’s Who in the World” in 2000 for all his contributions in his field of expertise.</p> <p>Dr. Look is a Fellow of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons (FRCS) of Edinburgh and Glasgow.</p>
