The Centre for Foot and Ankle Surgery is a one-stop clinic that offers comprehensive and advanced solutions for both common and complex foot and ankle conditions. It uses advanced technologies and evidence-based methods for the treatment and management of toe deformities, joint problems, fractures, and congenital lower limb conditions, among others. Its services range from nonsurgical treatment to modern surgical procedures including robot-assisted total knee arthroplasty and keyhole surgery.
The clinic is helmed by Dr. K Kannan, a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship subspecialty training in foot and ankle conditions. He has over 12 years of experience as well as an MBBS degree and Masters in Orthopaedic Surgery from the National University of Singapore. He has also completed his fellowship training in lower limb reconstructive and trauma surgery, total ankle arthroplasty, foot and ankle arthroscopy, and foot and ankle reconstruction in Switzerland and Amsterdam. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Orthopaedics and Trauma) and Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS).
Dr. K Kannan is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in lower limb reconstruction, trauma surgery, and total ankle arthroplasty in Switzerland and Amsterdam. He is currently practicing at the Centre for Foot and Ankle Surgery in Singapore where he provides both nonsurgical and surgical procedures for the treatment of various lower limb conditions including diabetic foot ulcers, fractures, foot pain, and sports-related injuries, among others.
