Dr. Tan has more than 20 years of clinical experience and is the former head of the National University Hospital’s (NUH) endocrine surgery division. His subspecialty interests lie in endocrine surgery and endoscopic hernia repairs. </p> <p>Dr. Tan is experienced in the comprehensive treatment of thyroid cancers, minimally invasive parathyroid surgery, and keyhole adrenal surgery. His other services include haemorrhoid rubber band ligation, haemorrhoidectomy, cutaneous cyst resection, thyroidectomy, laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair, anal fistulectomy, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, lipoma excision, appendectomy, circumcision, parathyroidectomy, and laparoscopic cholecystectomy. </p> <p>He graduated from the University of Leicester with his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) in 1995.
