He completed his fellowship in advanced laparoscopic and pancreatic surgery in the United Kingdom, his Diploma in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery in France, and his intensive training in robotic surgery in Italy. He has over 15 years of experience and is driven to provide patients, both local and international, the highest standards of surgical care that does not cost a fortune.
<p>Dr. Manoj Gandhi is a board-certified surgeon with more than 15 years of experience. Following his graduation from Mumbai University in India, where he obtained his MBBS degree, he completed his clinical fellowship in minimal access surgery at Sir Gangaram Hospital in New Delhi where he refined his surgical skills in performing various procedures such as cholecystectomy, hepatobiliary surgery, endohernia surgery, and appendectomy, among others. </p> <p>He then received the highly prestigious Dr. P.N. Berry Education Trust Scholarship, paving the way for him to train in the United Kingdom where he completed the minimally invasive technique for advanced laparoscopic, pancreatic and obesity surgery training at United Leeds Teaching Hospitals. He also completed his robotic surgery training in Italy. </p> <p>Upon his return to India, he served at numerous hospitals where he further honed his surgical skills and gained experience in other medical specialties including orthopaedics, burns management, <a href="http://www.docdoc.com/info/specialty/plastic-surgeons">plastic surgery</a>, paediatric surgery, urology, and oncosurgery (cancer surgery).</p> <p>He also served as an administrative medical officer at the accident and emergency department of BYL Nair Hospital, a 1,000-bed multidisciplinary teaching hospital run by the Municipal Corporation of Mumbai in India. </p> <p>Dr. Gandhi is a member of the Indian Medical Association, Association of Surgeons of India, and Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo-surgeons. He is also serving as one of the medical directors of Dr. Gandhi’s Nursing Home in Mumbai as well as secretary of Bombay Nursing Home Association.</p>
