Dr. Gobinder Singh’s is a Consultant orthopaedic surgeon at the Spine and Joint Centre, Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur, a premier healthcare facility accredited by the Joint Commission International, and the Malaysian Society for Quality in Health.
Dr. Gobinder, who served as president of the Malaysian Orthopaedic Association from 2013-2014, is a recognized expert in joint disease and surgery. <p>Dr. Harwant Singh’s mission is to provide the right treatment the first time. He is committed to providing long-lasting pain relief and solutions to debilitating acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. He is a Doctor of Philosophy (Surgery), Doctor of Medicine (UKM), and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh). He has over 20 years of experience with special training in spine surgery, biomechanics, and gait. He has a special interest in novel solutions for unmet orthopaedic clinical problems and holds several patents in new spine technology. </p> <p>Dr. Singh serves on international committees and is committed to enhancing orthopaedic care. He regularly speaks at local and international workshops, imparting his knowledge to his peers. Aside from his practice at Pantai Medical Centre, he is also the Director of Clinical Research of the TAG Group, a dedicated orthopaedic and musculoskeletal outpatient and ambulatory surgical centre specialising in comprehensive physiotherapy and rehabilitation services. </p> <p>Dr. Singh is a Member of the Scoliosis Research Society, the Asian Academy of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, and the International Spine Intervention Society.</p>
<p>Dr. Jeyaledchumy Mahadevan graduated from Mangalore University. She completed her undergraduate training at Kasturba Medical College in Manipal and her post-graduate training in radiology at the University of Malaya. </p> <p>She then traveled to Paris and obtained her Masters Degree in Neurovascular Disease and Bangkok (Thailand) where she completed her subspecialty training in hepatobiliary. </p> <p>Dr. Mahadevan is the treasurer of the Asian-Australasian Federation of Interventional Neuroradiology and is a member of the World Federation of Interventional and Therapeutic Neuroradiology. She is also the secretary of the Malaysian Board of Interventional Radiology and is the one who prepares training materials for the College of Radiology and Academy of Medicine. </p> <p>Driven to the advancement of her field, Dr. Mahadevan has written and published numerous papers in both local and international journals. Some of the topics that she has written so far include cervical facial vascular malformations, supratentorial cerebral arteriovenous fistulas (avfs) in children, and bilateral segmental regression of the carotid and vertebral arteries with rete compensation in a western patient, among others.</p>
<p>Dr. Josephine Rosalind Subramaniam is an interventional <a href="https://www.docdoc.com/info/specialty/radiologists-x-rays-cts-mris">radiologist</a> at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. She specializes in the interventional management of neurovascular diseases, interventional oncology, hepatobiliary drainage and stenting, interventional neurology procedures, radiofrequency ablation (RFA), and uterine artery embolization.</p> <p>She completed her MBBS degree at Mangalore University-Kasturba Medical College in India in 1987. She then traveled to the United Kingdom where she completed her fellowship at the Royal College of Radiologists (1997) and fellowship in interventional radiology at Hammersmith Hospital (1998). She also completed her neuro-interventional training at Radcliffe Infirmary Oxford and South Tees University Hospital (UK) as well as her International Masters in Neurovascular Diseases at Mahidol-Paris University in 2006. </p> <p>Dr. Subramaniam was the president of the Malaysian Society of Interventional Radiology (2012-2014) and council member of the College of Radiology Malaysia. </p> <p>She is also a proud member of the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia, Royal College of Radiologists (UK), World Federation of Interventional and Therapeutic Neuroradiology (WFITN), Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE), Asian-Australasian Federation of Interventional and Therapeutic Neuroradiology (AAFITN), and the Asia Pacific Society of Cardiovascular & Interventional Radiology (APSCVIR).</p>
