Dr. Mehta is a board-certified oncology surgeon with over ten years of experience. He holds an MBBS degree and has completed fellowship training in gastrointestinal oncology and cytoreductive surgery (CRLC Val d’Aurelle, France), minimal access and gastrointestinal surgery (L’Hospital Saint Eloi, Centre Hospitaliere Universitaire, Montpellier, France), and laparoscopic and robotic colorectal surgery (St. Mary’s Hospital, South Korea).
Dr. Mehta is the recipient of the prestigious Rotary International Ambassador Scholarship (2009) and Outstanding Young Person Award from the Junior Chamber International (JCI). He is recognized as the first Indian surgeon to perform cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC using the advanced HIPEC system in the country as well as the first to perform the following surgeries: trans-anal full-thickness resection of benign tumours, villous adenomas, large polyps, and trans-anal total mesorectal excision.
