Finessa Aesthetica is led by Dr. Leslie Colleen Tiongson, who specializes in dermatology and laser treatments. Typically described by her patients as approachable and very professional, she is recognized for consistently delivering exceptional results that make her patients come back for more.
<p>As the medical director of Finessa Aesthetica Clinic, Dr. Tiongson is very particular in matters involving clinic procedures and clientele handling. She upholds the highest standard when it comes to service, which she believes should be both professional and personal, and with a personality to match, she is able to relate well with her patients, instantly putting them at ease by involving them in treatment decisions. Dr. Tiongson garnered extensive training during her former position as a dermatology consultant at the Vicente L. Danguilan Memorial Clinic in Nueva Vizcaya and as a dermatology consultant at My Health Multi-Specialty Clinic chain. She has also been teaching under the department of biology at the Ateneo de Manila University since 2011. Today, she juggles her practice, teaching, and memberships in various industry institutions such as the Philippine Dermatological Society.</p> <p>Recognized by her peers as an expert in her chosen specialties, Dr. Tiongson is a frequent lecturer. Her stints include a lecture entitled “Antifungals Revisited,” a University of the Philippines post-graduate mycology lecture back in 2012, and “The Magnitude of Moisture”, which was delivered at the Skin Moisture Immersion Program held by Unilever Philippines in 2011. She also spoke at the Philippine Dermatological Society Northern Luzon Chapter conference held last November 2010; using a lecture she called “Recognition and Remedy for Common Dermatologic Infectious Disorders.” On top of these, she has also written and published several case reports and articles, one of which was published in the June 2009 issue of the Journal of the Philippine Dermatological Society after she presented the same paper at the Society’s Annual Convention in 2007. The same paper, entitled “Kimura’s Disease in a Filipino Male,” also won second place in the Department of Internal Medicine Annual Research Forum and was a finalist at the Philippine General Hospital Annual Research Forum. She is also credited as the co-author of a case report entitled “Well’s Syndrome,” which was presented at the International Dermatology Convention in Australia in 2007.</p>
