GEOS Physio Rehab is a specialist physiotherapy clinic located in Jalan Pudu, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It specialises in the management of neurological (such as stroke and multiple sclerosis) and neuromuscular (such as arthritis and scoliosis) conditions, sports injuries, and post-operation rehabilitation. The clinic is staffed by senior physiotherapists who received intensive training in proven safe and effective therapeutic techniques designed to increase circulation and muscle flexibility, decrease pain and muscle spasm, and improve overall mobility.
GEOS Physio Rehab’s services include soft tissue manipulation, IFT (interferential therapy), TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation), ultrasound and traction, dry needling, and laser therapy, among others. The services can be combined, when and as needed, to achieve the best possible treatment outcomes.
The clinic was established in 2013 in conjunction with Lecadia Prima Care Centre and Leela Ratos Group with the goal to provide advanced physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for both local and international patients. Gunasekaran Sukumaran graduated from Manipal University (India) where he completed his Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy. Prior to joining GEOS Physio Rehab centre in Kuala Lumpur, he worked at a local nursing home and assisted orthopaedic surgeons at private clinics. He has over five years of experience. His areas of specialty lie in knee and stroke rehabilitation, sports injury, tendonitis treatment, soft tissue therapy, and disc problems.
