gutCARE, which has four clinics in Singapore, was established with the goal to provide the most up-to-date digestive care for Singaporean residents, expatriates, and medical tourists. It is composed of three gastroenterology specialists, each with specific subspecialist interests and years of further training in their specific field. By pooling their expertise within one practice, they are able to deliver holistic, multidisciplinary care.
The clinic offers a complete range of services for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of all diseases that affect the gut, from the oesophagus, stomach and small intestine, and right through to the colon and rectum, as well as the liver, pancreas, and bile ducts. These include abdominal discomfort, swallowing difficulties, heartburn and acid reflux, digestive infections and cancer, fatty liver, and hepatitis, among others.
The clinic offers common diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as well as those that are not widely available in Singapore such as hydrogen/methane breath testing, motility testing, Fibroscan liver disease assessment, and advanced endoscopy.
Aside from advanced diagnostics and targeted treatment, the clinic also focuses on providing patient-centered care. It advocates patient education, providing complete information about their condition and available treatment options.
