Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a non-invasive remedial treatment that targets the whole body. It is performed by a licensed therapist who performs a gentle massage, targeting strategic points to promote overall health and well-being especially of the nervous system. BCT therapists are trained and possessed placatory skills, perceptual skills, treatment and contact skills as well as clinical understanding to perform hands-on therapy that heals the mind, body, and spirit. This form of treatment helps create optimal conditions for health - to prevent disease or injury, encourage invigoration and vitality, and promote a general sense of well-being.
Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT)
Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT) is a treatment method for lymphedema, a condition characterised by a damage in the lymphatic system due to the after-effects of cancer treatment. In lymphedema, the lymphatic system accumulates fluid and is unable to drain this build-up out of the body. With CDT, a physiotherapist can help reduce the swelling through a combination of treatment that can include manual lymph drainage through massage, compression with bandage or garments, proper exercise, and good skin care habits. CDT is an excellent treatment method that stimulates increased filtration and function of the lymph nodes and reduces swelling in target areas. MLD should only be performed by a qualified lymphedema therapist.
Deep Tissue Body Therapy
Deep tissue massage involves slow strokes combined with deep pressure on strategic areas to release built-up tension. When done properly, deep tissue massage is corrective as well as therapeutic as it firmly allows the tissues to loosen and become relaxed to encourage the restoration of efficient circulation in the affected areas. Deep tissue body therapy is beneficial for individuals with chronic muscle pains, especially around the lower back, shoulder and neck caused by stress, tension, postural problems, and other lifestyle-related causes.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (60mins)
Manual Lymph Drainage, often referred to as MLD, is a non-invasive manual technique that is known to provide a powerful enhancing effect on the body. It is a form of relaxing massage that aids in stimulating the lymphatic system and prompts the normal flow of lymph fluid so it can easily be drained out of the body. Manual lymph drainage must be performed by a trained therapist as it involves stretching as well as the application of torque and force in a specific and accurate manner, pressure, speed and direction. It is based on a physiological and scientific principle that encourages proper lymph flow, reduces swelling and promotes better overall health.
Manual Therapy/Clinical Sports Massage
Sports massage, which is highly recommended for athletes and sports enthusiasts, focused mainly on areas of the body that are constantly stressed or overused due to strenuous and often repetitive movements. Sports massage is now increasingly being used when formulating a well-balanced training regimen. It is a means of enhancing relaxation while reducing recovery time to promote optimum performance for an upcoming event or training exercise. Sports massage techniques are personalized to every athlete to improve endurance, reduce fatigue and soreness, promote flexibility, and even prevent possible injury. Sports massage therapy lasting 30 minutes to an hour is recommended once to twice a week.
