Julian Tan Heart Specialist Clinic was established in 2000 with the goal to provide state-of-the-art, holistic heart care using advanced technology and modern facilities. <p>Dr Chee´s clinical interest lies in chest pain (angina), arrhythmia, atherosclerosis, and ongenital heart disease. He furthermore treats coronary artery disease (CAD), dyslipidemia, hypertension and valvular heart diseases.</p>
<p>Dr. Julian Tan Ko-Beng is a fellowship-trained consultant cardiologist at Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre in Singapore. He has more than 10 years of specialist practice experience and subspecialty interests in interventional and nuclear cardiology. He is qualified to treat and manage patients with heart disease, including the most advanced forms of heart muscle, valvular, coronary, and hearth rhythm disorders. He is experienced in the treatment of blocked heart arteries, angioplasty, and minimally invasive cardiac procedures. </p> <p>He graduated from the National University of Singapore with his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) in 1999. He then joined Singapore General Hospital for his training in internal medicine. He subsequently pursued his training in cardiology at the National Heart Centre Singapore and subspecialty training in interventional cardiology at Epworth (Australia), Mount Elizabeth, and Tan Tock Seng Hospitals. </p> <p>Dr. Tan is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (France), American College of Sports Medicine, Singapore Medical Association, Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions Foundation, and Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. </p> <p>Besides his clinical practice, Dr. Tan also serves as a visiting consultant at Tan Tock Seng and Khoo Teck Puat Hospitals, senior clinical lecturer at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, core clinical faculty member for NHG Cardiology Senior Residency Programme, and clinical teacher at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.</p>
