The clinic is Dr. Saminathan Suresh Nathan’s private practice. He is a well-recognised, award-winning orthopaedic surgeon and fellowship-trained musculoskeletal oncologist with more than two decades of experience. He graduated from the National University of Singapore with an MMBS degree and Master of Medicine in Surgery. He also completed his orthopaedic surgery training at the National University Hospital (Singapore) and his fellowship in musculoskeletal oncology at the renowned Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre in New York. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS) and Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS).

Driven to provide the highest standards of care to all his patients, he combines his advanced surgical skills with state-of-the-art technology to deliver safe and effective orthopaedic solutions. He also commits to continuing professional development and regularly conducts research to further improve patient outcomes. In 2012, he won the best paper award for his pioneering work in using collagen-based biomaterials in effective host implant integration in joint replacement surgery.

Dr. Saminathan Suresh Nathan graduated from the National University of Singapore where he completed his MBBS degree as well as his Master of Medicine (MMed) in Surgery. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (1998) and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (2003). Between 2003 and 2005, he completed his fellowship in musculoskeletal oncology at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre in New York, United States. He also worked at the Sarcoma Research Laboratory at Montefiore Medical Centre, Albert Einstein College of Medicine (also in New York) on molecular and chemosensitivity research in osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer. Upon his return to Singapore, he assumed various distinguished leadership roles at different hospitals and committees, including: * Head, Musculoskeletal Oncology Division, National University Hospital (2010-2012) * Musculoskeletal Oncology and Sarcoma Group Leader, National University Cancer Institute of Singapore (NCIS) * Principal Investigator, Musculoskeletal Oncology Research Laboratory, NUS Clinical Research Centre * Chairman, Clinical Competency Committee Dr. Nathan is one of the only two members from Singapore to be inducted to the International Symposium of Limb Salvage Surgeons in 2007. In 2008, he became the only surgeon from Singapore to be elected to the Advisory Committee of the Asia Pacific Musculoskeletal Tumour Society. Practicing for over 24 years, Dr. Nathan has received a number of distinguished accolades and scholarships, including: * New Investigator Recognition Award Winner (Basic Science), Orthopaedic Research Society, San Francisco, California (2004) * Academy of Medicine Gold Medal Award for Best Overall Performance, Master of Medicine in Surgery (1998) * Yahya Cohen Gold Medal Award for Best Clinical Performance, Master of Medicine in Surgery (1998) * HMDP Award in Musculoskeletal Oncology, Singapore’s Ministry of Health (2002) * Health Service Development Project (HSDP), Singapore’s Ministry of Health (2006)
