Lynne Lim Ear Nose Throat & Hearing Centre (Child & Adult) is a one-stop clinic for a wide range of ENT, head, and neck conditions of both children and adults. It offers comprehensive treatment for allergic rhinitis, head & neck lumps, snoring, complex paediatric ENT conditions, and hearing loss. It also manages microtia and atresia, ear-related vertigo, tinnitus, and balance issues.
The ENT specialist centre has a dedicated asleep, awake, and electrophysiological testing as well as in-house sound-proof and sound-treated hearing testing rooms. It is staffed by full-time audiologists and an allergy-trained staff nurse.
Dr. Lynne Lim is a fellowship-trained senior consultant ENT, head, and neck surgeon with over 20 years of accredited ENT experience. She completed her MBBS at the National University of Singapore in 1992 and her ENT specialty fellowship in 1996. She spent three years at Cincinnati Children Hospital Medical Centre in Ohio, USA for her ENT surgery fellowship. She also completed her Master of Public Health at Harvard School of Public Health as well as her training in reconstruction surgery of complex microtia/atresia and middle ear bones pathology at leading centres of the University of Virginia Medical Centre, Stanford Medical Centre, and Nagata Plastic and Ear Reconstruction Clinic, Japan.
Aside from her private practice, she also serves as adjunct associate professor at the National University of Singapore’s School of Medicine and visiting consultant to the National University Hospital’s ENT Department.
She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS) and Academy of Medicine of Singapore (FAMS).
<p>Dr. Lynne Lim obtained her MBBS degree in Singapore and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) and Academy of Medicine, Singapore. She also attended the prestigious Harvard School of Public Health in the United States where she completed her Master of Public Health degree. She received the National Medical Research Council Fellowship that allowed her to spend three years in Cincinnati Children Hospital Medical Centre, Ohio, USA. This is a world-renowned American ENT board accredited medical and research centre, mentored by Professor Robin Cotton and Professor John Grienwald, two of the biggest names in the field of ENT. </p> <p>Prior to setting up her own clinic at Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre, she practiced at Singapore General Hospital for ten years and another ten years at the National University Hospital. Considered as one of the top ENT specialists in Singapore, she pioneered genetic testing for hearing loss service (2005), first simultaneous bilateral cochlear implant surgery (2005) and the first “invisible” totally-implantable middle ear implant surgery (2008). She is the former Director of the Centre for Hearing Intervention & Language Development at the NUH. Her experienced has honed her skills in managing a wide range of adult and paediatric cases including snoring, nose block, allergic rhinitis, hoarseness and head and neck lump problems. She also has a strong international reputation for her expertise in handling paediatric ENT & hearing loss for adults and children.</p>
