The Nobel Eye and Vision Centre at Mount Alvernia Medical Centre is a one-step eye clinic that offers comprehensive screening and diagnostic services as well as non-invasive and surgical treatment of a wide range of eye disorders and conditions affecting both children and adults.
The clinic is helmed by Dr. James Pan, a senior consultant eye surgeon with subspecialty interests in corneal and external eye diseases, refractive surgery, and artificial corneal transplantation. He completed his basic medical degree at the National University of Singapore and fellowship training in cornea, external eye disease, and refractive surgery at the Lions Eye Institute in Western Australia.
Dr. Pan is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) of Edinburgh and Academy of Medicine of Singapore (FAMS). Apart from his private practice, he also serves as a clinical lecturer at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.

<p>Dr. James Pan is a senior consultant eye surgeon with over 15 years of practice experience. His services include general ophthalmology, LASIK, and cataract surgery. He is fellowship-trained in cornea and external diseases and has a special interest in artificial corneal transplantation. </p> <p>He graduated from the National University of Singapore with an MBBS in 1995 and Master of Medicine in Ophthalmology in 2001. Following the completion of his basic and advanced medical training, he pursued his fellowship in cornea and external diseases at the Lions Eye Institute in Australia. </p> <p>He is a member of the Asia Cornea Society and both the European and American Societies of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine of Singapore (FAMS) and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSed).</p>
