Orchard Heart Specialist Clinic is a full-service cardiology practice that caters to both local and international patients. The clinic is staffed by Dr. Tan Kok Soon, an interventional cardiologist with over 30 years of experience. Prior to going into private practice, he was the head of cardiology at Changi General Hospital (1997-2003) and has had various appointments in the US and UK. The clinic’s other cardiologist is Dr. Leslie Tay who has more than 15 years of practice experience. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS) and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
<p>Dr. Tan Kok Soon graduated from Trinity College Dublin where he completed his medical degree in 1985. He then pursued his postgraduate qualifications in cardiology and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (2003) and Academy of Medicine, Singapore (2000). He also completed his interventional cardiology fellowship in San Diego, California (1996-1997). </p> <p>He is a member of the Singapore Cardiac Society, Singapore National Heart Association, and Asia-Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology.</p>
