Prior to setting up his own practice, he held various positions at the School of Medical Sciences, University Science Malaysia, including head of the Department of Orthopaedic, lecturer in Orthopaedic, and head of the Orthopaedics Oncology and Reconstructive Unit. More than three decades in practice has taught him that the best possible outcome can only be achieved by fully understanding the patient’s condition, having the ability to make an accurate diagnosis, and providing individualized treatments using industry-approved materials, the most advanced technologies, and breakthrough procedures. Dr. Zulmi Wan is a proud member of the Orthopaedics Conjoint Board of Examiners in Master of Orthopaedics. He is the former chairman of Conjoint Board of Orthopaedics-Malaysia (2002-2004), and chairman of the Bone Banking at the National Transplant Centre. He is also a practicing professor at HUKM Clinic.
