Dr. Stephen Chew is a consultant physician and nephrologist with more than 20 years of specialist practice experience. He has a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore. He obtained his training in nephrology at Singapore General Hospital.
He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP) and Fellow of the Academy of Medicine of Singapore (FAMS).
<p>Dr. Stephen Chew Tec Huan is a consultant physician and nephrologist currently practicing at Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre in Singapore. He has more than 30 years of experience and is specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of kidney disease and hypertension. </p> <p>He treats and manages a wide range of conditions, including diabetic nephropathy, renal hypoplasia, ectopic kidney, nephrotic syndrome, glomerulonephritis, medullary sponge kidney, Fanconi syndrome, nephroptosis, renal osteodystrophy, ureterocele, renal abscess, renal tubular acidosis, cardiorenal syndrome, acute-on-chronic kidney failure, and metabolic alkalosis. </p> <p>He graduated from the National University of Singapore with his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) in 1988. He then joined Singapore General Hospital for his training in internal medicine, residency, and fellowship in nephrology. He obtained his membership of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP) in 1995.</p>
