The clinic is the private practice of Dr. Leslie Lam, a cardiology specialist with more than 40 years of specialist practice experience.
Dr. Lam graduated from the University College Dublin with an MBBS in 1967 and Bachelors in Pharmacology in 1969. He was conferred Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (FRCS) and Academy of Medicine of Singapore (FAMS) in 1987. He is also a Fellow of the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions (1995).
<p>Dato Dr. Leslie Lam is a highly experienced, fellowship-trained cardiologist currently practicing at Farrer Park Medical Centre in Singapore. He specialises in the screening, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of all heart conditions and related medical problems, including but not limited to coronary artery disease, vascular heart disease, stroke, <a href="http://www.docdoc.com/info/condition/congestive-heart-failure">congestive heart failure</a>, endocarditis, and angina. His services include comprehensive cardiac screening, pacemaker implantation, cardiac catheterisation, and stem cell therapy, among others. </p> <p>He completed his basic medical degree at the University College Dublin in Ireland in 1967. He then pursued his postgraduate qualifications and became a member (1981) and Fellow (1987) of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine of Singapore (FAMS). In addition, Dr. Lam is governor and Fellow of The Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions and honorary Fellow of the Faculty of Medicine – University College Dublin. </p> <p>Dr. Lam, who is known for pioneering non-invasive percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty, serves as honorary consultant for Seychelles and Myanmar’s ministries of health and visiting cardiologist to the National Heart Centre and Changi General Hospital.</p>
