The Foot Practice was established by Mr. Adam Jorgensen following years of service to Singapore’s health sector. He is responsible for the establishment of the National University Hospital’s podiatry services.
The Foot Practice provides a full range of podiatric services from its three offices located at Rochester Park, The Arcade Singapore, and on Siglap Drive. The clinic’s services include diabetic foot care and treatment, skin and nail care, sports podiatry, lower leg and foot injury diagnosis and treatment, customized foot orthotics, and paediatric podiatry. It also treats a wide variety of conditions and symptoms, such as anterior knee pain, ankle sprains, bunions, iliotibial band syndrome, and heel pain, among others.
The clinic’s teams, who are driven to provide exceptional patient experience, are friendly, accommodating, and committed to patient education. With their commitment to continuously improve patient outcomes, they continue to advance their knowledge and skills so they will be able to consistently treat all patients using the latest podiatric techniques and technologies.
The Foot Practice is now being led by Mr. Peter Barker (who pioneered the podiatric sports centre at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital) and Mr. Timothy Maiden (who graduated from the University of Cardiff in the United Kingdom). Both are highly qualified senior podiatrists with a wealth of knowledge in the medical field. Mr. Jorgensen, who has decided to return to Australia, still provides advisory services when required.
Mr. Timothy Maiden is a senior podiatrist at The Foot Practice, a private group podiatry provider that strives to deliver exceptional specialist podiatry care for both patients from Singapore and medical travellers. Timothy specializes in the treatment and management of sports and running injuries and offers custom orthotics, gait analysis, and podopediatrics (children’s foot care), among others. He graduated from the University of Cardiff (United Kingdom) and has over six years of experience.
