Mr. Timothy Maiden has been a practicing podiatrist in Singapore since 2011. He moved from the United Kingdom where he obtained his BSc (Hons) Podiatry. He has over six years of experience and is deeply committed to providing patient-centred and evidence-based holistic podiatry care. His goal is to provide long-lasting pain relief and highly effective treatment programs so patients can continue enjoying an active and pain-free lifestyle. Prior to joining The Foot Practice, Timothy served in the NHS in Cambridge (United Kingdom) and later on, worked at several clinics in and around London. He has also volunteered in numerous countries, including India, where he collaborated with other medical professionals to treat and educate people about diabetes and neurological conditions. He also assisted in the manufacturing of orthotics and footwear to help patients suffering from foot pain and ambulatory problems when he was in Hyderabad, which is also in India. He then travelled and volunteered in China where he treated patients with Hansen’s disease. This earned him the Society of Podiatrists and Chiropodists’ Cozy Feet award in 2010. In 2011, Timothy moved to Singapore and joined Tan Tock Seng Hospital and later on, The Foot Practice, where he is now serving as a senior podiatrist. Timothy is a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists in the UK and an executive member of the Podiatry Association Singapore. He is an all round sportsman and loves visiting sites in Singapore with his young family in his free time.
