The Oral Maxillofacial Practice was initially established at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in 2003. However, as the demand for the clinic’s services grew and as the practice expanded, it was relocated to Mount Elizabeth Novena Specialist Centre and opened its second clinic at Camden Medical Centre. Staffed by five oral and maxillofacial surgeons, the clinic specialises in jaw surgery, wisdom tooth extraction, orthognathic surgery, sleep apnoea, temporomandibular joint disorder, jaw joint and facial pain, and jaw cysts, among others.
The Oral Maxillofacial Practice also serves as an education and training centre that offers advanced training in oral maxillofacial surgery-related topics for general dentists in Singapore and across the region. It also conducts courses and seminars on various topics including medical emergencies in dental practice, management of impacted wisdom teeth, and bone grafting, among others.
The clinic’s surgeons are deeply committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes. They use technologically advanced diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, evidence-based methods and techniques, and high-quality materials. They are also advocates of patient education and take the extra mile to ensure that patients fully understand their condition and all their treatment options.
