TMC Fertility & Women’s Specialist Centre is located at Tropicana Medical Centre in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It was established in 2000 and is now recognised as the largest fertility centre in the country. The centre, together with its team of internationally trained fertility specialists, is now working to become the region’s leading fertility centre.
TMC boasts 66% pregnancy rate and is fully equipped to handle both simple and complicated cases. It combines advanced medical and technological facilities with medical expertise, excellent nursing care, and quality diagnostics.
The centre is accredited by the International Standards Organisation (ISO), the Malaysian Healthcare Travel Council, and the Malaysian Society of Assisted Reproductive Technology. It offers comprehensive fertility services that include natural cycle monitoring, ovulation induction, GIFT (gamete intra-fallopian transfer), assisted hatching, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), and surgical sperm retrieval, among others. It is the clinic’s goal to provide patients with individualised treatment and advanced solutions that can significantly increase their chances of finally having a child of their own.
Aside from fertility treatments, the clinic also offers general obstetrics and gynaecology services, sperm and embryo freezing and banking, and fertility treatment for patients with cancer, among others.
<p>Dr. Nurhazinat Yunus completed her MBBS degree from the University of Malaya (UM) and her Masters in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. </p> <p>Aside from her 12 years of experience and medical expertise, Dr. Yunus also brings to the table her genuine care for her patients. As a woman and mother herself, she easily relates to her patients and manages to provide them with guidance and much-needed support as they start their journey towards parenthood. </p> <p>Prior to joining TMC Fertility & Women’s Specialist Centre, Dr. Yunus worked at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan (HTAA) as an obstetrics and gynaecology specialist. During this time, she was accredited to perform various laparoscopic procedures by the HTAA Credentialing Board. In 2008, she joined TMC as a consultant <a href="http://www.docdoc.com/info/specialty/obstetricians-gynaecologists">obstetrics and gynaecologist</a> and fertility specialist. She now works together with a group of medical specialists who uses advanced technologies and evidence-based methods to bring patients steps closer to realising their dream of becoming parents.</p>
<p>Dr. Yong Jee Kien graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia where he completed his basic medical degrees. He then went on and pursued his Masters of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the University of Malaya. Following his graduation, he served as a clinical specialist at Hospital Selayang’s O&G department before he joined TMC Fertility & Women's Specialist Centre. </p> <p>Dr. Yong achieves great satisfaction in helping couples finally conceive, especially after years of trying. One of his career highlights took place in 2007 when he successfully achieved seven consecutive pregnancies in a row. </p> <p>Fully committed to further improving patient outcomes, Dr. Yong consistently attends relevant seminars and conferences to stay updated with the latest technologies, methods, and techniques in the field of fertility medicine.</p>
<p>Dr. Wai Kok Yau graduated from the University of Malaya with an MBBS degree. He then went on and completed his specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology in 2004. Prior to joining TMC Fertility and Women’s Specialist Centre, he served at various tertiary and district hospitals, providing comprehensive women healthcare. </p> <p>He is a registered obstetrician and gynaecologist with the Malaysia National Specialist Register.</p>
<p>Dr. Surinder Singh is the head of TMC Fertility & Women’s Specialist Centre and president of the Malaysian Society of Assisted Reproductive Technology. He is a consultant <a href="http://www.docdoc.com/info/specialty/obstetricians-gynaecologists">obstetrician and gynaecologist</a> with a special interest in fertility treatments. He has over 18 years of experience and is a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons (USA).</p>
<p>Dr. Aldrin Lie Tze Min completed his basic medical degree and Masters of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Malaysia. He has been practicing for over 12 years actively providing advanced fertility solutions and services including fertility consultations, diagnostic and therapeutic laparoscopic procedures, in vitro fertilisation, and intrauterine insemination, among others. </p> <p>Deeply committed to excellence, Dr. Aldrin takes advantage of TMC Fertility & Women’s Specialist Centre’s advanced technologies, innovative equipment, and world-class facilities, which he combines with methods and techniques that are backed by research and intensive clinical experience and clinical success.</p> <p>Prior to joining TMC Fertility as a resident consultant obstetrician, gynaecologist, and fertility specialist, he served at Hospital Tunku Jaafar, Seremban where he was in charge of the hospital’s fertility unit. He was also an honorary lecturer in obstetrics and gynaecology at the International Medical University.</p>
<p>Dr. Navdeep Singh Pannu is a consultant obstetrics and gynecology at Thomson Hospital Kota Damansara and two branches of TMC Fertility & Women’s Specialist Centre. He has 20 years of experience in helping patients with obstetrics and gynaecology conditions, particularly that related to infertility. </p> <p>He has special interests in minimally invasive endoscopic procedures (such as laparoscopic hysterectomy) and infertility management. Among the services he provides to both local and international patients include intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection, micro epididymal sperm aspiration (MESA), percutaneous epididymal sperm aspiration (PESA), testicular sperm extraction (TESE), in vitro fertilisation (IVF), intrauterine insemination (IUI), and pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD).</p> <p>He started his career in medicine in Belgaum, India, where he completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) in 1998. He then flew to Malaysia to complete his Masters of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Universiti Malaya in 2009. A year later, he became a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of the United Kingdom (MRCOG). He is also a member of the Academy Medicine of Malaysia and Fellow of International College of Surgeons, USA. </p> <p>As he developed a keen interest in fertility treatments that pushed him to complete his certificate in ART (assisted reproductive technology) at the National University of Singapore. He also obtained his Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery (MIS) in India. </p> <p>Before joining the private practice, he practiced at Hospital Tengku Ampang Rahimah Klang, Hospital Tuanku Ja’afar, and Hospital Sungai Buloh Hospital. He was also active in performing research and published it in a medical journal. One of his research titled, “The Impact of Lymphovascular Space Invasion on the Survival and Recurrence in Patients with Endometrial Carcinoma”.</p>
