Dr. Adune Ratanawichitrasin specializes in the surgical treatment of a wide range of diseases and conditions that affect the breast, head, and neck. Committed to ensuring not just exceptional patient outcome but also the safety of his patients, he uses only evidence-based methods and latest technologies in a state-of-the-art facility. He also initiates each treatment programme by carefully listening to his patients’ needs and by conducting a thorough assessment, allowing him to offer the most appropriate treatment and/or management programmes.
His career in medicine started in 1986 when he graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Mahidol University. He then furthered his knowledge and was awarded a Certificate of Proficiency in General Surgery from the same university and completed his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Sukhothai Thammathirath University in 1991. Outside of Thailand, he became a Diplomate in Clinical Oncology at the University of London, England (1996) and Clinical Fellow in Breast Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Foundation, USA (1998).
Dr. Ratanawichitrasin also published the following papers: “Limited Incision with Plastic Bag Removal for a Large Fibroadenoma” and “Touch Imprint Cytological Analysis of Sentinel Lymph Nodes for Detecting Axillary Metastases in Patients with Breast Cancer” in British Journal of Surgery.
