Dr. Ang Kian Chuan graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1990 and completed his Advanced Orthopaedic Training from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, where he became a Fellow in 2000. His interests are sports injuries particularly those that affect the knees and shoulders. He is the team physician to the Wanderers Rugby Club, Bedok Kings Rugby Club, and Bucks Rugby Club. Recently, he has been featured on several reality television shows for providing orthopaedic care for participants in the Contender Asia Muay Thai and Season 4 of the Contender. He is also the official team physician to the Amateur Muay Thai Association of Singapore.
Dr. KC Ang has over 15 years of experience and is an advocate of arthroscopic or “keyhole" surgery as well as computer-aided joint replacement surgery. His goal is to effectively treat and manage various musculoskeletal conditions to help patients get back to their active lifestyle with minimal downtime and post-surgery pain and bruising.
