Dr. Ben Ng Jen Min is an internal medicine and endocrinology specialist with subspecialty interests in diabetes mellitus, thyroid and parathyroid disease, and [osteoporosis](http://www.docdoc.com/info/condition/osteoporosis. He is the consultant endocrinologist at Arden Endocrinology Specialist Clinic located at Mount Elizabeth Novena Specialist Centre, Singapore. Prior to going into private practice, he served as consultant endocrinologist at Changi General Hospital (2011-2014).
He completed his medical degree at Queens University Belfast in Northern Ireland. After obtaining his membership of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (MRCP) in 2005, he pursued his specialist training in diabetes and endocrinology as well as general internal medicine at the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom.
After working for 16 years in Northern Ireland and Yorkshire, United Kingdom, he returned to Singapore with a dual accreditation in endocrinology and internal medicine from UK’s General Medical Council. He then joined the National University of Singapore as adjunct assistant professor and clinical tutor at DUKE-NUS and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
He has more than 100 scientific articles to his name and has received several research grants from the UK and Singapore. He is often invited to speak at local and regional medical conferences and has published in several peer-reviewed journals.
