Dr. Sin Cheuk Hang is an orthopaedic and traumatology specialist at Tsim Sha Tsui Medical Centre in Kowloon, Hong Kong. His subspecialty interests lie in spine, hand, and foot surgery. His services include partial and total hip replacement, total knee replacement, sports surgery, and paediatric orthopaedics.
He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at The University of Hong Kong in 2006 and membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCSEd) in 2008. He completed his overseas fellowship at Beijing Jishuitan Hospital’s trauma and spine unit (China) and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital’s peripheral nerve injury unit (United Kingdom). He also completed his AO spine fellowship at Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham, United Kingdom.
He was conferred Fellow of the Hong Kong College of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FHKCOS), Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (FHKAM), and Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSEd) in 2013.
Besides his clinical practice, he also serves as an honorary clinical assistant professor at The University of Hong Kong and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) as well as an honorary secretary and treasurer of the Association of Private Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is also a regular reviewer for the Journal of Orthopaedics, Traumatology, and Rehabilitation and examiner in orthopaedic surgery at CUHK.
Prior to joining Tsim Cha Tsui Medical Centre in 2018, he served as an associate consultant at Princess Margaret Hospital (2016-2018) and resident specialist at Yan Chai Hospital (2013-2015).
