Dr. David Dai Lok Kwan is an internal medicine specialist with a keen interest in geriatric, rehabilitation, and pulmonary medicine. He is a consultant geriatrician at Prince of Wales Hospital’s department of medicine since 2002.
He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at The University of Hong Kong in 1980. Following the completion of his basic medical training at various hospitals in Hong Kong, he obtained his membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom and Ireland in 1985.
Dr. David then pursued his interest in geriatric, rehabilitation, and pulmonary medicine. He was an honorary research fellow at Sau Po Centre on Ageing (The University of Hong Kong) from 2014-2017. He was subsequently conferred Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FACCP) in 1986, Fellow of the Hong Kong College of Physicians (FHKCP) and Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (FHKAM) in 1993, and Fellow of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of Glasgow and London in 1994 and 1995, respectively.
He is an honorary clinical assistant professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, honorary assistant professor and honorary clinical assistant professor at The Hong Kong University, and adjunct associate professor at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
