Dr. Kieron Boon Leng Lim is a fellowship-trained gastroenterology and hepatology specialist currently in private practice at Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre.
He specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with conditions related to the gallbladder, pancreas, liver, colon, stomach, and oesophagus. His special interests lie in the assessment and treatment of colon cancer, liver cancer, fatty liver disease, viral hepatitis B and C, liver cirrhosis, and liver fibrosis.
Dr. Lim completed his medical degree at St. Bartholomew’s and The Royal London School of Medicine in the United Kingdom. After serving at The Royal Free Hospital’s liver unit, he went to the United States for his fellowship training in advanced liver disease and liver transplantation at the Recanati/Miller Transplantation Institute, Icahn School of Medicine, Mount Sinai New York.
He is the former head of the National University Hospital’s division of gastroenterology and hepatology as well as medical director of the National University Centre for Organ Transplantation. He was also an honorary adjunct assistant professor (division of liver diseases) at Icahn School of Medicine, Mount Sinai New York and assistant professor at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
