Dr. Leong Quor Meng is a consultant general and colorectal surgeon currently practicing at the Nobel Surgery Centre located at Mount Alvernia Medical Centre and Mount Elizabeth Novena Specialist Centre. He performs both open and minimally invasive surgical techniques, including single incision laparoscopic and robotic surgery. He treats patients with benign and malignant colorectal diseases, anorectal diseases, stomach cancer, hernia, and gallbladder diseases. He also offers diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy for both elective and emergency surgical conditions.
He completed his MBBS at the University of London in the United Kingdom in 2000. He then went to Singapore for his Master of Medicine in General Surgery, which he completed at the National University of Singapore in 2004. Following the completion of his advanced specialist training, he was awarded the Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) fellowship by Singapore’s Ministry of Health for his training in laparoscopic and robotic colorectal surgery at Korea University under Professor Kim Seon Hahn.
Dr. Leong is both a member (MRCS) and Fellow (FRCS) of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
