She graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1995 and went on to complete her basic specialist training in internal medicine at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) and National University Hospital. Prior to setting up her private practice, Dr. Lim was the director of the cardiac interventional laboratories at TTSH and was instrumental in the setting up of the 24 hour, 7 days a week acute heart interventional service. Dr. Lim, who boasts 20 years of experience, also currently trains undergraduate and postgraduate doctors at Duke-NUS School of Medicine and conducts weekly postgraduate subspecialty training in interventional cardiology at TTSH. She has also written and published a number of research papers in internationally recognised scientific journals.
