Dr. Lim Lian Arn is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon and the medical director of Alpha Joints & Orthopaedics at Gleneagles Hospital in Singapore. His main services are primary and partial knee replacement, primary hip replacement, and revision knee and hip replacements. He also often performs ligament and soft tissue surgery for the knee and shoulder, including arthroscopic meniscal surgery, ACL reconstruction, and shoulder rotator cuff and Bankart repairs. Dr. Lim is also experienced in the management of general orthopaedic conditions and orthopaedic trauma.
He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at the National University of Singapore in 1986. After he was conferred Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS) in 1992, he pursued his one-year hands-on surgical fellowship training at the Mayo Clinic in the United States. His fellowship focused on primary and revision knee and hip replacement surgery.
