Dr. Nancy Tan is a consultant paediatrician at SBCC Baby & Child Clinic at Mount Elizabeth Novena Specialist Centre Singapore. She has subspecialty interest in paediatric gastroenterology. Her services include the diagnosis and treatment of gastric, intestinal, and liver disorders, gastroscopy, and ambulatory 24-hour gastric pH monitoring.
She graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) in 1994. She then pursued her postgraduate qualifications, which include Master of Paediatrics (NUS), membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK), and Diploma in Family Practice Dermatology (NUS).
She completed her internship at the National University Hospital (NUH), training in general paediatrics at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and NUH, and training in paediatric gastroenterology at King’s College London (United Kingdom).
Dr. Tan is a former adjunct assistant professor at Duke-NUS, clinical teacher at NUS, and teacher at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
Besides her clinical practice, Dr. Tan is also an avid researcher. She has presented at local and international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals, including Paediatric Transplant, European Journal of Paediatrics, and the American Journal of Transplantation.
