Dr. Norzila Tendot Binti Abu Bakar is a vascular and interventional radiology specialist at HSC Medical Centre in Malaysia. She has more than 10 years of practice experience. Her services include liver tumour radiofrequency ablation, peripheral artery angioplasty, percutaneous liver abscess drainage, and uterine artery embolisation.
She treats and manages a wide range of conditions, including leiomyoma, acute-on-chronic kidney failure, cholelithiasis, chronic kidney disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia, and facet syndrome. She also provides specialist care to patients suffering from cerebrovascular accident, deep vein thrombosis, thoracic aortic aneurysm, arterial embolism, atrial thrombosis, and varicose veins.
She has a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Universiti Putra Malaysia and Master of Medicine in Radiology from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). She completed her training in internal medicine at USM and training in radiology at Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital and Hospital Pakar Sultanah Fatimah Muar. She then pursued her subspecialty training in neuro interventional radiology.
Prior to joining HSC Medical Centre, she served at Gleneagles Medical Centre and ParkCity Medical Centre. She is a member of the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia, Malaysian Orthopaedic Association, Malaysian Medical Association, and Malaysian Society of Interventional Radiology.
