Dr. Ong Sea Hing graduated with an MBBS degree from the University of Malaya in 2000 and in 2004, he completed his Masters in Internal Medicine at the National University Singapore and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP, United Kingdom). From 2005-2008, Dr. Ong completed his advanced specialty training in cardiology at the Academy of Medicine, Singapore and this was followed by a year-long training at the renowned Siegburg Heart Centre in Germany courtesy of the SingHealth Health Manpower Development Award.
Dr. Ong worked at several hospitals in Singapore including Changi General Hospital where he headed the only JCI-accredited Acute Myocardial Infarction Program in Singapore from 2008 to 2015. He also served as a clinical senior lecturer at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and as a faculty member of the SingHealth Cardiology Senior Residency Program. He is also actively involved in research and has successfully published numerous articles in high impact journals. As a recognised expert in his field, he is often invited as a faculty member at several Asia-Pacific regional conferences.
Dr. Ong, who is currently serving at The Heart Clinic @ Farrer Park and Baldev & Ong The Cardio Clinic, is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS) and member of Singapore Cardiac Society.
