Dr. Ranjit Singh Gill is a US fellowship-trained hand and microsurgeon with over 20 years of specialist practice experience. He is the clinical director of Kuala Lumpur Sports Medicine Centre’s hand and upper limb division and Pantai Hospital’s hand and microsurgery unit. Dr. Gill is also a consultant orthopaedic hand and microsurgeon at Gleneagles Intan and Sunway Medical Centres and visiting clinical lecturer in hand surgery at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Malaya in 1988 and was conferred Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS) and Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Glasgow (FRCSP) in 1993. In 1996, he completed his fellowship in hand and microsurgery at the University of Louisville, Kentucky and Christine M. Kleinart Institute for Hand and Microsurgery.
Dr. Gill has written two book chapters and published in regional and international journals, including the American Journal of Hand Surgery and Medical Journal of Malaysia. He has also presented at local and international medical meetings and conferences.
