Dr. Sathian Suravisankul completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Prince of Songkla University and his Masters in Paediatric Dentistry at Chiang Mai University. His professional experience includes working as a paedodontist at Patong Hospital and subsequently, as the head of the dental public health department, Phuket Provincial Public Health Office.
He volunteers for the National Oral Health Survey for Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health. He is also a member of the Oral Health Service Plan Board and is responsible for the promotion of oral health in early childhood and school-based children. He is also responsible for the Ministry of Public Health’s Sweet Enough Project. In 2014, he was one of the dentists selected by the Southern Rotary Club to become part of a vocational training team sent in Hokkaido, Japan.
