Dr. Tan Kia Lean is a consultant vascular surgeon at Ara Damansara Medical Centre in Malaysia. He specialises in the surgical treatment of aortic aneurysm, aorto-iliac occlusive disease, peripheral artery disease (PAD), mesenteric and renal artery disease, sweaty palm, and varicose veins. His services include aorto-iliac bypass and endovascular reconstruction, carotid endarterectomy/stenting, central venoplasty, endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy, endovascular aneurysm repair, and endovenous laser treatment. He also performs renal artery reconstruction, peripheral arterial angioplasty and bypass, and thoracic endovascular aneurysm repair.
He completed his medical degree at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (India), Master of General Surgery at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, and fellowship in vascular surgery with Malaysia’s Ministry of Health. He is a former clinical vascular fellow at Westmead Hospital in Australia.
