Dr. Fong Yoke Fai is an obstetrician and gynaecologist at Astra Laparoscopic & Robotic Centre for Women and Fertility. His clinical interests lie in laparoscopic and robotic surgery, endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, congenital genital tract abnormalities, fertility, pelvic floor reconstruction, and microsurgery.
He graduated from the National University of Singapore with an MBBS degree in 1986 and Master of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1991.
He then served at the National University of Singapore as associate professor and at the National University Hospital as head of benign gynaecology. He is the former president of the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Singapore (2011-2013) and chairman of the Asia & Oceania Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology – Gynaecological Endoscopy Committee (2011-2015).
He is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK) and Fellow of the Academy of Medicine of Singapore (FAMS) and Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG).
