Dr. Gobinder Singh is a consultant orthopaedic, trauma, arthroscopic, and sports injury surgeon fully registered with the Malaysian, Irish, and General (UK) Medical Councils. He has special interests in joint disease and injury, joint reconstruction and replacement, and biological rejuvenation and regeneration of cartilage using platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stem cells.
He completed his medical degree at the National University of Ireland, training in general surgery at Leicester Royal Infirmary, and training in orthopaedic surgery at Greenwich District Hospital. He is a Fellow of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Glasgow (FRCS).
Dr. Singh is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, International Society for Arthroscopy, Knee, and Orthopaedic Surgery, Malaysian Sports Medicine Association, and Malaysian Orthopaedic Association.
He has published in the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine, Clinical Radiology, and British Medical Journal. He has also published teaching modules on bone and joint infection, back pain, amputation and rehabilitation, osteoporosis, shoulder pain, and crystal arthropathies. He has also presented at many medical meetings and conferences.
