Grace Yap completed her Diploma in Health Sciences (Nursing) in Singapore. With a special interest in osteopathy, which was instrumental in the treatment of her lower back pain caused by a sports injury, she pursued her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Osteopathy at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. More recently, she also completed her clinical Pilates instructor course, also in Melbourne.
Grace worked as a staff nurse at Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore. Following the completion of her qualifications in osteopathy, she joined the Osteopathy & Podiatry Centre on Orchard Road, Singapore where she treats both children and adults with various pain conditions using evidence-based soft tissue and spinal manipulation and mobilisation techniques. She is also qualified to treat biomechanical and postural issues as well as lumbar and pelvic instability using Pilates-based exercises.
The Osteopathy and Podiatry Centre is a private clinic conveniently located on Orchard Road, Singapore’s retail and entertainment hub. It brings together the expertise of internationally trained osteopathy and podiatry specialists as well as dietitians and massage therapists to address a wide range of foot and lower limb injuries, pain conditions, postural problems, and sports-related injuries. Its goal is to provide long-lasting pain relief and long-term solutions so patients are able to enjoy an active lifestyle and better quality of life.
