Dr. Hoh Hon Bing is an ophthalmologist at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur. He specialises in cataract surgery, multi-focal lens implant, and laser eye surgery.
He completed his medical degree at Southampton Medical School (UK) in 1988, Doctorate in Medicine at Bristol University in 1999, and training in ophthalmology at Moorfields and Bristol Eye Hospitals.
Dr. Hoh is a former clinical lecturer in ophthalmology at Bristol Eye Hospital, visiting lecturer at the National University of Singapore, president of the Ophthalmological Society of the Malaysian Medical Association (1999-2001), and an associate professor in ophthalmology at the University of Malaya.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists of London (FRCOphth) and Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSEd).
He has published in various international peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and British Journal of Ophthalmology. He has also written a general ophthalmology textbook entitled ‘Clinical Cases in Ophthalmology.’
