Jack Allen graduated from the University of Limerick (Ireland) where he completed his BSc (with honours) Physiotherapy. Committed to continuing professional development, he pursued various courses on basic cardiac and life saving, pitchside medical care (World Rugby), amputee rehabilitation, ventilatory support, dementia care, and lower limb rehabilitation at various hospitals in Singapore including Singapore General Hospital and Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Following his graduation in 2013, he worked as a junior physiotherapist at Ang Mo Kio – Thye Hua Kwan Hospital where he gained a wide array of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. In 2016, he joined Integrative Physio where he now works in a team-based environment, working with colleagues in developing tailored treatment strategies designed to provide optimal outcomes.
Jack has completed further postgraduate training in dry needling and manual therapy for TMJ (jaw) pain as well as well as functional movement assessment techniques.
Jack has a great interest in low limb conditions as well as chronic jaw pain. He seeks to uncover the root cause of pain and empower his patients to self management.
Integrative Physio Clinic is conveniently located at Scotts Medical Centre. It is staffed by physiotherapists, functional medicine practitioners, clinical nutritionists, a naturopath, massage therapist, and a registered consultant TCM physician.
