Dr. Jasm Nidhu is a paediatric surgeon at Thomson Medical Centre in Singapore. She has a special interest in laparoscopic surgery. Her main services are the surgical treatment and management of lacerations, abscess, lumps and bumps, appendicitis, umbilical granuloma, lymph node enlargement, congenital abnormalities, and faecal impaction. She also performs circumcision and treats conditions of the genitalia and groin areas, including testicular torsion, undescended testis, umbilical hernia, and hydrocele.
Dr. Nidhu completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at Delhi University (India) in 2007. She then went on and obtained her Masters in General Surgery in Singapore and membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCS) in 2001. She subsequently pursued her interest in paediatric surgery at the National University Hospital and intensive training in paediatric surgery at Cambridge University Hospital (United Kingdom).
Dr. Nidhu also pursued her interest in laparoscopic surgery and obtained fellowships at the National University Hospital in Singapore and World Laparoscopy Hospital in India.
