Dr. Kok Choong Seng is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. He specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of general orthopaedic conditions, including fracture, tendinitis, tendon rupture, arthritis, ligament tear, ACL injury, bursitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, dislocation, fracture malunion, osteomyelitis, osteonecrosis, and tenosynovitis.
His services are arthroscopy, ankle steroid injection, arthrocentesis, ligament repair, below knee amputation, bursal aspiration, carpal tunnel release, closed reduction of dislocation, finger steroid injection, ganglion cyst excision, intraarticular steroid injection, intramedullary nailing of femur, knee arthroscopy, open reduction and internal fixation of fracture, partial hip arthroplasty, shoulder steroid injection, synovial biopsy, toe amputation, and total knee arthroplasty.
He completed his Doctor of Medicine at Universiti Sains Malaysia in 1982, training in general surgery at Hospital Taiping, and training in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Malaya. He is a member of the Malaysian Association of Sports Medicine and Malaysian Medical Council.
Prior to joining Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur, he served as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon/orthopaedic surgeon at Columbia Asia Hospital, Pantai Klang Specialist Medical Centre, and the Armed Forces Hospital. He is the former vice president of the Malaysian Association of Sports Medicine, an honorary treasurer of the Malaysian Association of Sports Medicine, and council member of the Malaysian Arthroscopy Society.
