Dr. Lee Kae Meng Thomas is the medical director and consultant psychiatrist at the Resilienz Clinic at the Novena Medical Centre. He is also a visiting consultant to Changi General Hospital’s national addictions management service as well as an executive committee member of the Association of Professionals Specialising in Addiction Counselling.
He specialises in treating patients suffering from alcohol, drug, gambling, and sex addictions using a combination of therapy and medications. He is also experienced in treating psychiatric conditions, including anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, psychosis, and insomnia and providing expert psychiatric opinion for forensic and medico-legal cases.
Dr. Lee graduated from the National University of Singapore with an MBBS and Masters in Psychiatry. He also received training in the treatment of gambling addiction at the University of California, Los Angeles.
He is a certified substance abuse and gambling addiction counselor and clinical supervisor in addiction counselling. In 2008, he helped in the development of the clinical practice guidelines on prescribing Benzodiazepines and led the development of the clinical practice guidelines on the management of gambling disorders in 2011.
