Dr. Paul Mok Kan Hwei is a senior ENT surgeon with subspecialty interests in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of voice and swallowing problems and obstructive sleep apnoea. He also treats adults and children with nose, sinus, ear, head, and neck conditions.
He is the medical director of the My ENT Specialist clinic at Mount Elizabeth Novena Specialist Centre and Farrer Park Hospital in Singapore. He is driven to provide comprehensive and holistic care using advanced medical technology and evidence-based treatments.
He completed his medical degree at the National University of Singapore in 1991, postgraduate diploma at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 1997, and advanced surgical training in ENT in 2000. He then pursued his fellowship on voice and swallowing conditions at the Grabscheid Voice Centre at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City after he was awarded the Human Manpower Development Program (HMDP) scholarship.
Upon his return to Singapore, he joined Tan Tock Seng Hospital where he played a major role in the setting up of the voice, swallowing, and obstructive sleep apnoea service of the hospital’s ENT department. In 2005, he joined Alexandra Hospital as head of its ENT service.
