Dr. Poh Beow Kiong is a consultant neurologist specialising in percutaneous nephrolithotomy of renal stones, advanced minimally invasive surgery, and advanced endourology.
He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) and Masters in Medicine (Surgery) at the National University of Singapore. After obtaining his membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCS), Dr. Poh pursued his advanced training in urology and minimally invasive surgery of urological cancers and urinary stones. He also trained at The University of British Columbia and the University of Southern California in the fields of advanced endourology, advanced minimally invasive surgery, and laparo-endoscopic single site (LESS) surgery.
Dr. Poh is part of the panel that drafted Singapore’s prostate cancer screening guidelines that was published in 2009.
Besides his clinical practice, Dr. Poh is also a clinical teacher and examiner at the National University of Singapore, where he trains young urologists in laparoscopic urologic cancer surgery and minimally invasive urinary stone surgery.
He is the former scientific chairman of UROFAIR 2012, an international urologic congress attended by internationally renowned urologists around the world.

It offers a range of diagnostic procedures, such as urodynamic study for bladder dysfunction, flexible cystoscopy, urine flow assessment, and transrectal ultrasound-guided biopsy. Its services also include vasectomy, laser circumcision, laparoscopic hernia repair, male subfertility treatment, and single port and minimally invasive adrenalectomy and kidney cysts excision.
