Dr. Quan Wai Leong is a gastroenterology specialist and an interventional endoscopist at the GI Endoscopy and Liver Centre Royal Square. He provides comprehensive care for all medical conditions that affect the digestive tract, liver, and biliary system.
His services include routine gastroscopy and colonoscopy procedures, therapeutic endoscopy procedures, and luminal stricture dilation and metal stent placement.
He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at the National University of Singapore in 1992, training in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), and training in digestive diseases at Prince of Wales Hospital in Hong Kong. His training focused on advanced therapeutic endoscopy in luminal, pancreatic, and biliary work.
Prior to going into private practice, he served as director of TTSH’s endoscopy centre and deputy chairman of the hospital’s surgical care committee. He is a member of the Gastroenterological Society of Singapore and Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP). He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine of Singapore (FAMS) and Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (FRCP).
