Dr. Sriram Narayanan is a senior consultant vascular and endovascular surgeon currently practicing at The Harley Street Heart and Cancer Centre located at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore. He is also an adjunct assistant professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and the Southeast Asian trainer for venous stenting, intravascular ultrasound, and aortic surgery. Aside from vascular and endovascular surgery, he also has subspecialty interests in advanced venous intervention and wound care.
Dr. Narayanan completed both his medical and master of surgery degrees in India. Following his graduation, he pursued his advanced training in gastrointestinal, thoracic, and hepatobiliary surgery in Liverpool and Cornwall in the United Kingdom. He also spent two years in Nottingham for his transplantation research. In 2002, he pursued his subspecialty training in vascular surgery after he was selected for the All Wales Higher Surgical Training Programme in Cardiff as well as his vascular fellowship at the Imperial College London.
Dr. Narayanan then joined the University Hospital of North Staffordshire as a consultant vascular surgeon before he moved to Singapore in March 2011 to join Tan Tock Seng Hospital as a consultant vascular surgeon.
To date, Dr. Narayanan has published on topics that include vascular access, vascular and endovascular surgery, and transplantation in International Journal of Surgery.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow and Royal College of Surgeons of the United Kingdom (General Surgery).
