Dr. Steve Yang Tze Yi is a respiratory medicine specialist at Mount Elizabeth, Gleneagles, and Parkway East Hospitals. He has a strong interest in interstitial lung disease, critical care, and end-stage lung diseases.
He completed his MBBS at the National University of Singapore in 1994 and training in respiratory and intensive care medicine at the Singapore General Hospital. He then went to the United States for further training in intensive care medicine and interstitial lung disease at the University of Washington Medical Centre. He also has a European diploma in intensive care.
Following the completion of his postgraduate qualifications, Dr. Yang was conferred Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FACC), Academy of Medicine of Singapore (FAMS), and Singapore's Chapters of Intensive Care and Respiratory Physicians. He is also a member of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP).
Dr. Yang has published in local and international medical journals on critical care and interstitial lung disease. He is also a regular reviewer of various journals, including Respirology and Respiratory Care and the Singapore Medical Journal.
